Erling Haaland will still have to wait. Injured in one foot, the Norwegian striker has not played again since December 6 and a defeat by Manchester City against Aston Villa (1-0). “Haaland is close to coming back. Tomorrow he’s not ready but he’s close. The workout was good. He’s been training for a few sessions, but it’s not perfect and we’re going to wait a little more.”, Guardiola declared to the media. Therefore, the Leeds native could make his comeback to competition next Wednesday against Burnley or Monday against Brendford.
