While training with the Norwegian team, Erling Haaland had to leave his partners after being injured. Something to worry about in Manchester City, but a priori nothing serious.

During this period of international break, it is of course not just the French team that is on deck. Selections preparing for Euro 2024 or not, they are all preparing to play friendly matches at the end of March. This is particularly the case for Norway which will host the Czech Republic (on the 23rd) and Slovakia (on the 26th). On Tuesday there was a training session for Erling Haaland and his partners. A session that the Manchester City player did not finish.

There was some concern when the “cyborg” ended up on the ground, reported A.S., without being able to say more about the reason for the apparent problem. One thing is certain, Erling Haaland did not stay on the training ground until the end and went straight to treatment looking grim. Images which must necessarily have set off alarm bells for Manchester City, but the fears were quickly dissipated.

Nothing serious ?

The Spanish media thus explained that according to the first information from Norway, there would be nothing serious for the powerful center forward who should even be able to play the match on Friday evening scheduled at the Ullevaal Stadion from Oslo. City is still following the story very closely, especially as it has already had to deal with the long injury of Kevin De Bruyne who for his part remained in Manchester and will not play with Belgium for the month Of March.

Erling Haaland, for his part, experienced small physical problems with his ankle last season, which is why Manchester City remains very careful and attentive regarding him. The English club also has a Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, which is looming in three weeks. An absence of its biggest offensive asset would be detrimental. THE Cityzens fingers crossed.
