There have been several changes being made to the WWE roster in the last few months, as several wrestlers have had to make new decisions about their futures with the company. This has included multiple wrestlers deciding if they are going to stay with the company on new contracts or try their luck elsewhere. This time though, it isn’t entirely clear what is going on.

Over the course of the year, Kevin Owens has revealed that his current WWE deal is set to expire by the end of 2024. Earlier this week, a rumor began to circulate that Owens had all but agreed to a new contract with the company. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are conflicting reports about Owens’ future with WWE. Some say that Owens is close to signing, while others say that he could still leave in the new year and go to AEW. At the same time, there are some who are saying that Owens signed a new deal months ago but it is being kept quiet.

Opinion: I’m curious to see where this is going, but any of the results would make sense. Ultimately Owens is going to either make his decision rather soon or he has already made his choice, possibly even officially. That could make for quite the interesting situation, as Owens could be a valuable asset for AEW if he is given the chance to go there. WWE would certainly want to keep Owens around, and now we are going to get to see what he chooses to do.
