Hannah Einbinder, Daughter Of ‘SNL’ Star Laraine Newman, Makes Cameo Alongside ‘Hacks’ Co-Star Jean Smart

Hannah Einbinder was in Studio 8H after all.

Einbinder made a cameo on Saturday Night Live alongside her Hacks co-star Jean Smart to introduce Jelly Roll.

But while she works alongside Smart on the Max comedy series, Einbinder has enough of her own history with the long-running NBC series – she is the daughter of Laraine Newman, who starred in SNL from the very beginning.

Newman was one the OG stars from season one (she’s played by Emily Fairn in Jason Reitman’s movie Saturday Night) until she left in 1980.

Newman was in the news earlier this month after she was tweeting up a storm around the Emmys, when she slammed The Bear being in the comedy category.

Smart, meanwhile, was wearing a Jelly Roll t-shirt as the pair were introducing the musician.
