Hansi Flick’s Barcelona has started the season with an exciting and entertaining style of play, captivating fans and bringing a sense of joy back to the team.

After a few seasons of disappointing performances, the club is finally seeing a revitalization among its supporters.

So far, those attending matches at Montjuïc have plenty of reasons to cheer, as the team has won all five of their matches, with three of those victories featuring impressive displays of attacking football.

In their matches against Athletic Bilbao, Valladolid, Getafe, Young Boys, and Sevilla, the Barcelona team left their opponents empty-handed.

This perfect record at home is particularly noteworthy, as it follows a challenging defeat to Monaco in a pre-season friendly, where they lost 0-3 during the Joan Gamper trophy.

Since that setback, Montjuic has transformed into an imposing fortress, where the team has consistently performed at a high level.

Challenges won’t be short

Flick’s Barcelona has now achieved five consecutive wins at home, putting them just two victories shy of matching the record set by Xavi’s team last season.

That team also enjoyed a strong start, winning seven straight matches at Montjuic, beginning with a victory over Cadiz and followed by wins against Betis, Royal Antwerp, Celta Vigo, Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao, and Shakhtar Donetsk.

However, the current impressive home run is set to face a serious challenge soon, as Bayern Munich prepares to visit Montjuic. The upcoming match is anticipated to be the toughest test for Barcelona so far this season.

Flick’s side has scored an impressive total of 20 goals in their five home games, averaging four goals per match. Additionally, they have only conceded two goals in this span, one of which was a penalty from Athletic Bilbao.

Interestingly, the attendance at Montjuic has significantly increased as the team has begun to find its rhythm. During the recent match against Sevilla, around 48,000 fans filled the stadium, marking the highest turnout of the season so far.

This growing crowd signals that Barcelona supporters are gradually rekindling their passion for the team, which had been somewhat muted in recent years.

The previously “cold” atmosphere at Montjuïc is now shifting toward a more vibrant and lively energy, demonstrating the renewed enthusiasm surrounding the club.

The upcoming match against Bayern Munich is generating a lot of excitement among the fans, and it is expected that attendance will be even higher as supporters flock to witness what promises to be an exhilarating contest.

The connection between the team and its fans has never been more evident, as they rally together in support of the squad. This unity between the players and the supporters is crucial for the team’s morale and confidence as they strive for success this season.

In conclusion, Flick’s Barcelona has not only achieved excellent results on the pitch but has also successfully re-engaged its fan base, creating a sense of optimism and enthusiasm around the club.

The team’s performance at Montjuic has been nothing short of remarkable, and as they prepare to face Bayern Munich, the supporters are eager to continue this positive momentum.

If the players can maintain their current form and the fans remain behind them, there is every reason to believe that Barcelona can achieve great things this season, building on the strong foundation they have established thus far.
