After losing their UEFA Champions League opener against AS Monaco 2-1 last month, FC Barcelona are aware that they cannot afford another slip-up when they face Young Boys tonight in Montjuic.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is very much aware of the importance of this match and as such opted to rest several key players in the La Liga game against Osasuna this past weekend, which resulted in a 4-2 defeat.

The German tactician will recall his regular starters to the lineup against the Swiss team tonight. But, according to Toni Juanmarti of SPORT, the manager has one doubt with regard to his playing XI for the game.

Pablo Torre or Ferran Torres – the big question

Indeed, as per the report, the Barcelona manager is undecided over who to start between Pablo Torre and Ferran Torres against Young Boys tonight.

Eric Garcia’s absence through suspension means Flick has no option but to pair up Pedri and Marc Casado in the double pivot.

It leaves the manager to make a decision over the No. 10 position – either he can start Pablo Torre like the last few matches or opt to move Raphinha into a central position and stick with Ferran Torres on the left wing.

Despite Torres failing to make much of an impact against Osasuna this past weekend, he might end up getting the nod owing to his greater experience in the Champions League.

How will the team look like?

As for the rest of the team, Inaki Pena is guaranteed to start in goal in Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s absence while Jules Kounde, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez and Alejandro Balde will likely make up the defence.

Lamine Yamal will take up the right wing while Robert Lewandowski – one of the two players to start every game thus far this season – will spearhead the attack as usual.
