Harry Kane made a slight faux pas when heaping praise on Bayern Munich teammates and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Bayern secured a 3-0 victory over Hoffenheim on Friday night in the Bundesliga.
Kane paused before correcting himself when being interviewedCredit: GettyJamal Musiala netted twice, and Harry Kane scored in the 90th minute to record his 22nd goal of the season so far.
The former Tottenham star was interviewed post-match and asked about shot-stopper Neuer.
"We both train together, and there are a few keepers, of course, that we play against.
"It is good for me, and Manu, I am training against one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
"Obviously, he is trying to save some of my shots; he is a fantastic goalkeeper and a great leader in the dressing room as well.
"As I said, we are really pleased we have him; hopefully he does not have to make too many saves, but the more he does, we are very grateful."
The reporter then cheekily corrected Kane, replying: "You're at Bayern, you have to say he [Manuel Neuer] is the best in the world."
Kane then said: "He is the best in the world."
Bayern are second in the Bundesliga standings with 41 points, four behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
