Navigating digital transformation is a challenge involving multiple stakeholders, and Rewired24 will close with a keynote session exploring this process from a broad set of perspectives.

The session, at the end of day two on the Digital Transformation Stage, features three of the most experienced and respected public sector leaders: Sir Julian Hartley, Mike Bracken, and Rachel Hope.

The session aims to set the context and offer a system-wide view of how best to ensure digital successfully underpins NHS modernisation, and avoid the calamitous mistakes of high profile failed public sector digital programmes such as Post Office Horizon.

Sir Julian is the CEO of NHS Providers, the body that provides the independent voice on behalf of NHS trusts. Previously CEO of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS FT for a decade, he also led the interim NHS People Plan.

Mike Bracken is the founding partner, Public Digital, the consultancy specialising in public sector digital transformation that has worked with many NHS organisations. Mike is a highly public sector technology leader who founded and led the much admired UK Government Digital Service.

Rachel Hope is the director of digital prevention services at NHS England. She led the team at NHS Digital that built the digital infrastructure behind 126 million Covid jabs. Hope will also participate in a keynote session on day one on the Digital Transformation stage looking at how the NHS App is “transforming the front door to the NHS”.

In addition to the concluding keynote on day two, the Digital Transformation stage will include a keynote on National Leadership: addressing the nations’ priorities and funding and a panel discussion on NHS England digital strategy.

Rewired24 is free for NHS and public sector professionals, with CPD accreditation available for all sessions. Private sector tickets are £475+VAT.  You can register online and the final programme is available here.
