The quest for Super Bowl LIX heats up as HBO dropped a trailer for Hard Knocks In Season with the AFC North.
Hard Knocks will follow four teams for the first time as they battle for their division crown. The Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland Browns, and the Cincinnati Bengals are featured in the sports docuseries, which will premiere on Tuesday, December 3, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and Max.
New episodes of the show will air every Tuesday through the end of the NFL regular season and continue into the NFL playoffs in January 2025.
The Ravens were the first team featured in the original Hard Knocks training camp series in 2001. The Bengals made two appearances on the HBO series, in 2009 and 2013, while the Cleveland Browns were featured in 2018. This 2024 series will mark the Steelers’ debut on Hard Knocks.
When the In Season series was announced earlier this year, Keith Cossrow, VP and Head of Content at NFL Films, said, “Last season the AFC North became the first division ever to have all four teams finish with a winning record, making it the perfect place to launch this new approach to ‘Hard Knocks.’ We thank the Bengals, Browns, Ravens, and Steelers for the opportunity to showcase some of the greatest rivalries in football and present the intensity of a playoff chase from all four corners of this incredibly competitive division.”
The In Season edition is an extension of the Hard Knocks franchise, which earlier this year followed the New York Giants with the Offseason edition and the Chicago Bears with the classic Training Camp edition.
