Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that Arda Güler will take part in Real Madrid’s trip to Rayo Vallecano this weekend in La Liga.

The Whites cross the Spanish capital five points clear at the top of the table, heading into a key moment of the campaign. Ancelotti will have to balance his squad, Antonio Rudiger and Jude Bellingham not being selected against Rayo Vallecano.

Arda Güler will participate in this meeting. The Turkish prodigy will be included in the squad, with Ancelotti ready to use him, despite a mixed debut campaign in Madrid. Injuries and declining form have contributed to Ancelotti not relying on the 18-year-old, who has played just 22 minutes in the league.

Ancelotti is ready to bring the young virtuoso in against Rayo, but insists he must be ready for the challenge that awaits him at Vallecas. “He is good now, he can play from the start, he has the level to contribute. He now has to fight for a place, but we also have to be patient,” said the Merengue boss at a press conference. Ancelotti’s side were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Rayo Vallecano at the start of the season and lost away to the same Rayo in 2022.
