Andrea Pinamonti, the Sassuolo striker, managed the feat of missing two penalties in less than two minutes, each time falling on Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi on Saturday evening in Serie A.

Nightmare evening for Andrea Pinamonti. The Italian international center forward from Sassuolo missed the opportunity to revive his team on the field of Atalanta, Saturday evening in Serie A (25th day), and the Bergamo team won with a score of 3- 0.

After the Dea opened the score, Sassuolo indeed obtained a penalty in added time of the first period. Pinamonti saw his attempt repelled by Marco Carnesecchi (45th + 4), but the referee had the penalty kick withdrawn because the young opposing goalkeeper had left his line. But Pinamonti fell on Carnesecchi again a minute and 20 seconds later (45th+5)!

Atalanta’s huge series!

Atalanta took off in the second half, thanks to Teun Koopmeiners (75th) and former Parisian Mitchel Bakker (75th). Gian Piero Gasperini’s team thus continues its fifth victory in a row to consolidate its 4th place, with three points more than Bologna.

Sassuolo is in danger, in 17th place, tied on points with the first relegation place, Hellas Verona.
