IMG Credit: WWECome on over. There are all kinds of wrestling promotions throughout the world and some of them are full of top level stars. At the same time, many of these promotions would be thrilled with the idea of getting some WWE star power on their cards, especially if it is from someone rather unique. That is what we are going to be seeing at the start of the new year from someone who has not been around much lately.

Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan has announced that Omos will be making his debut with the promotion on their New Year’s Day event next Wednesday. Omos will be teaming with Jack Morris to challenge Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. Omos has not wrestle on WWE television since April, when he took part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can make for some interesting surprises, as Omos is not like anyone else you are going to see in any promotion. If WWE is not going to use him, let him go over to Japan for a bit and see how it goes over there. At the same time, it is nice to see WWE working with other promotions, as this opens the doors to so many more eyes, which should benefit everyone.
