Important week for Paris Saint-Germain. This Wednesday, the capital club faces Manchester City as part of the 7th day of the first phase of the Champions League.
A decisive meeting for a possible qualification for the C1 play-offs. THE Red and Blue are currently in 25th position with only 7 points on the clock.
Questioned by Times Sport before this shock, Portuguese midfielder Vitinha spoke about the Parisian squad but especially about Luis Enrique. The Spanish coach has made Vitinha his boss in the midfield since the last exercise. Number 17 believes that the former FC Barcelona manager is the best coach in the world.
“It’s the best. He won't lie to you. You cannot have false impressions. This is a very good thing. I like it a lot. Sometimes coaches are not as direct, to protect themselves. I really don't think I could find a better coach. It matches my abilities with the ball, my strengths,” he said.
Vitinha does not want to leave PSG
Arriving in the French capital in the summer of 2022, Vitinha feels very good at PSG. The Portuguese who is under contract until June 2027 should even renew his lease in the coming weeks. An agreement would have been reached between the player and management until June 2029. The midfielder does not see himself leaving the Parisian club.
“I'm really happy here, and I'm sure the club thinks the same thing. I really prefer this type of project. The way they want to build the team, the long-term vision, that's the best way,” he admitted during the interview given to Times Sports. Words that should please all Parisian supporters.
