The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday night confirmed the arrest of controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border.
The Public Relations Officer, DIC KT Udo in a statement released this evening October 21 said Bobrisky who is a person of interest was arrested while trying to flee Nigeria.
The statement reads: “Nigeria Immigration Service intercepts Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky) at Seme Border whilst attempting to flee the country.
“In Keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Intercepted Okuneye Idris Olarewaju otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country.
“The service wishes to inform the puclic that Okuneye Idris is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate Authorities for further action
“The serive assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statytory responsibility of manning the country’s borders.”
