EXCLUSIVE: Henry Eikenberry (Lisa Frankenstein) and Naheem Garcia (Challengers) have been tapped for roles in At the Sea, the Amy Adams drama currently shooting in Boston that Kornel Mundruczó is directing from his and Kata Wéber’s script.

No word on the roles the duo will be playing. As previously announced, Murray Bartlett, Brett Goldstein, Chloe East, Daniel Levy, Jenny Slate and Rainn Wilson have also been set to star.

At the Sea follows the life of Laura (Adams) as she returns to her family at their holiday beach home following a long rehabilitation. There, she must readjust to the complicated life she left behind and face the next chapter without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, most importantly, identity.

Producers on the project include Alexander Rodnyansky of AR Content, Stuart Manashil of Novo Entertainment, Alex Lebovici and Jon Oakes of Hammerstone Studios, Viktória Petrányi and Mundruczó, and Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett of the Ryder Picture Company. Exec producers are Paul J. Diaz, Maria Breese of 3:33 Creative, Lee Broda of LB Entertainment, Jeff Rice of Jeff Rice Films, Michael Kupisk of AR Content, and Walter Josten and Patrick Josten of Blue Rider Pictures. Zsofi Oblath and Rachel Rubin are co-producing.

AR Content, Diaz, and Hammerstone Studios are financing the film, with WME Independent to rep domestic rights, Capstone Global handling international, and Sacker Law overseeing production legal.

Making his television debut a couple of years ago as part of the cast of HBO’s Euphoria, Eikenberry appeared opposite Tom Holland in Apple TV+’s The Crowded Room and co-starred in the Focus Feature horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein, released earlier this year. Next up, he’ll be seen in the third season of the Ryan Murphy anthology American Horror Stories for Hulu.

Recent feature credits for Garcia include Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, Alexander Payne’s Oscar winner The Holdovers, the Whitney Houston biopic I Just Wanna Dance with Somebody, Hocus Pocus 2, and Free Guy, to name just a few.

Eikenberry is repped by Linden Entertainment; Garcia by Lisa Lax Agency.
