Manchester United have reportedly won the race to sign teenage sensation Chido Obi-Martin following his Arsenal exit.

Obi-Martin recently announced his departure from Arsenal and it is believed that he attracted interest and potential offers from around the continent.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Obi-Martin to United gets a ‘here we go’ green light.

The talented striker has accepted United’s proposal, despite turning down higher bids from Germany.

Obi-Martin’s mind is seemingly set on joining United which is fantastic news for the club. We want to see the most talented youngsters at the academy because that is where they can develop and contest for opportunities in the first team.

It looks like it’s only a matter of time before Obi-Martin is announced as a new United signing.

Arsenal will be gutted to lose such a prospect to a domestic rival. At least United are set to benefit from that.
