Him? Update On Brock Lesnar Potentially Returning To WWE

Not so fast? There have been countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but only a few of them have been able to become the top stars the company has ever seen. Those are names who may not be full time stars anymore but still might show up every so often for a special appearance. That is what WWE seemed to be implying would happen again, but it might have been too soon.

Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, WWE dropped references to Brock Lesnar, who has been away from WWE TV since August 2023. This led to speculation over a potential WWE return for Lesnar, but according to Fightful Select, a “high level” source said there are no creative plans in place for Lesnar and they had not been briefed on him returning. Lesnar had been planned for a return to the company but was mentioned in connection to Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, resulting in him being kept away from the company.

Opinion: While I could believe that Lesnar will return to WWE one day, it does not seem to be likely anytime soon. At the same time, there is quite a bit of baggage that comes along with Lesnar, and it would not surprise me to see him staying away as a result. WWE does get something out of having Lesnar appear again, but it very well may not be worth all of the problems it could bring.
