Electronic health records systems are the foundation of healthcare information technology and crucial to the day-to-day operations of hospitals, health systems and physician group practices.

But they are far from static technologies. With EHRs, CIOs and other health IT leaders at provider organizations cannot just set it and forget it. These critical information systems must be maintained and optimized over time.
