These scenes of shame have unfortunately become usual on the other side of the Pyrenees. Once again, a match night was tarnished by racist acts in Spain. And it was once again the Brazilian striker Vinicius Jr who was the victim.

As part of the derby between Getafe and Real Madrid, this Thursday, the Real star was compared to monkeys by spectators at the local stadium, when the Madrid bus arrived at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Images which have made the rounds on television in Spain, and which should be the subject of a new procedure leading to potential sanctions.

This is not the first time that Vinicius Jr has been the victim of racism during a La Liga match. Last season, in Valencia, the Brazilian international had already been the target of supposed supporters of the beloved club.
