Another year has come and gone, and programming options to ring in the quarter century range from the classic Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest and CNN’s routine New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.

Keith Urban, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll will headline and co-host CBS’ New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash alongside Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith. Several other networks will welcome 2025 with various festivities and coverage of celebrations across the globe.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” 2025, which starts at 8:00 p.m. EST on December 31 on ABC. It will be streaming on Hulu the next day. This year’s traditional NYE countdown features a stacked lineup of guest stars. Seacrest will helm the countdown to midnight alongside singer Rita Ora, who has co-hosted before live from Times Square. Dayanara Torres returns as co-host in Puerto Rico.

Performances from the West Coast Party will include Alanis Morissette,special guest Reneé Rapp, Dasha, DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! starring Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh, Ernest, HARDY, Kesha, Laufey, Natasha Bedingfield, and T-Pain. Blake Sheltonwill performfrom Las Vegas, and Luis Fonsifrom his native Puerto Rico. TLC will later join the star-studded Times Square lineup in New York.

Carrie Underwood, who 20 years ago won the first season of American Idol,will close out 2024 with a live, headlining performance of some of her biggest hits live in Times Square just before midnight.  CMA New Artist of the Year Megan Moroney and legendary British singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor whose “Murder on the Dancefloor” had a moment following the release of Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn will join Underwood in Times Square to ring in 2025 with live performances.  

Additional New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performers also include Lenny Kravitz, singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, Tinashe, country singer Cody JohnsonandThomas Rhett.

This year will mark the second consecutive year that iHeartMedia will broadcast Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest live across 150 iHeartRadio stations nationwide including Z100 New York, KIIS-FM Los Angeles, KISS FM Chicago, Q102 Philly, THE NEW MIX 102.9 Dallas, and more meaning music fans across the country can listen in to iHeartRadio stations to catch the programming live on Tuesday, December 31, beginning at 8 p.m. or 7 p.m. central. The show will also be available to stream live on the iHeartRadio app.

CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will return for the eighth consecutive year as co-hosts of CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. Live from New York City’s Times Square,  CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen begins at 8:00 PM ET, with music, comedy and some surprise guests, including Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, live from his residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Sting, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain, Diplo, Lil Jon, Mickey Guyton who will perform “Imagine” live from Times Square. Patti LaBelle, and comedians Whitney Cummings, Amy Sedaris, Sasheer Zamata, Ziwe, Adam Devine will also be in attendance.

In addition to airing on CNN, the special will stream live on Max, on CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps for pay TV subscribers. CNN correspondents will kick off with reports from various international cities starting at 7 a.m. ET. Laura Coates, live from London, and Boris Sanchez in Paris, will anchor CNN’s coverage beginning at 2:45 PM ET.

Throughout the night, CNN reporters provide live coverage of celebrations across the country, including Richard Quest from the crowds in Times Square and inside Madame Tussauds, Randi Kaye from Key West, Florida, Stephanie Elam from Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and Gary Tuchman from Prescott, Arizona.

At 12:30 AM ET, CNN’s Sara Sidner, Harry Enten, and Cari Champion will take over the celebration, counting down to the new year as the Central Time Zone rings in 2025 from Auditorium Shores in Austin, Texas. 

CBS’ New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash

Parker McCollum, Cody Alan, Caylee Hammack, Keith Urban and more will perform at CBS’ New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. McCollum will also host alongside Urban,  Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith and country singers Kane Brown and Jelly Roll. Urban, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll will headline from Bicentennial Park.

Montana Jordan (George & Mandy’s First Marriage) will make a special appearance alongside comedians Leanne Morgan, Bunnie Xo and Bert Kreischer. The 40 back-to-back performances will consist of artists like Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Shaboozey, Christ Stapleton, Post Malone, Lainey Wilson, Brittney Spencer and many more.

Sara Bareilles: New Year’s Eve with the National Symphony Orchestra & Friends

Sarah Bareilles will take the stage at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra starting at 8 p.m. on PBS, PBS.org and the PBS app. She will be joined by special guests Rufus Wainwright, Emily King, and David Ryan Harris for this career-spanning night during which she’ll perform hits like “Love Song,” “Brave” and some numbers from “Waitress.”

A Toast To 2024! – on TODAY with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager

Ahead of Hoda Kotb’s departure from the Today Show early next year, she and Jenna Bush Hager will ring in the new year with a two-hour primetime special airing on December 31 at 9 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. CT.

Jimmy Failla’s All-American New Year’s Bash guides viewers into the New Year starting at 11 p.m. Failla will be joined by an array of special guests as the count down the minutes until 2025.

The broadcast will air live across 69 Nexstar-owned and partner television stations, up from 14 stations last year, and will reach more than 50 million U.S. television households, including viewers in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington, San Francisco, Denver, and Tampa, Fla. Coast to Coast Countdown to 2025 will also be an hour longer than last year’s broadcast.

Hosted by two-time Emmy nominee, comedian, and actor Michael Yo and news personality and Fandango correspondent Nikki Novak, Coast-to-Coast Countdown to 2025 starts the party at 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET.

The Jacksons, Foreigner, Rick Springfield, Sheila E., Spin Doctors, Lisa Lisa, George Thorogood, Exposé, Deborah Cox, Lita Ford, Morris Day, and Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats will rock the nation into 2025 for the exclusive New Year’s Eve special Coast-to-Coast Countdown.
