Whilst there was a behind-closed-doors kick about against a third tier German club during the stay at the Adidas HQ, on Saturday the Newcastle United friendlies kick off properly.

A trip to Hull City and all 4,500 away tickets snapped up.

This is the first of five Newcastle United friendlies, with then two games in Japan, followed by the final two at St James’ Park.

The club have announced (see below) that all five friendlies can be viewed online on the official Newcastle United site.

The price is £24.99 for all five Newcastle United friendlies, plus you get the NUFC Women’s team friendly against AC Milan included as well.

If you are a member then you should have received an email containing a discount code.

Normal members with The Mags (this includes season ticket holders who are automatically members but can’t buy extra match tickets) and Junior Mags memberships getting a discount code bringing the price down from £24.99 to £14.99, whilst if you paid an extra tenner to be a The Mags+ member, your discount code takes the price down from £24.99 to £8.99.

Newcastle United official announcement – 25 July 2024:

All SIX Newcastle United pre-season fixtures will be available for supporters around the world* to watch live on the Official Newcastle United website.

The men’s team kick-off their preparations for the 2024/25 campaign with a friendly at Hull City on Saturday, 27th July, followed by two fixtures in Japan against Urawa Red Diamonds on Wednesday, 31st July and Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday, 3rd August.

The Magpies then return to St. James’ Park for The Sela Weekender, which Eddie Howe’s side will kick-off with a game against Girona FC on Friday, 9th August.

Becky Langley’s Newcastle United Women will then square-off against AC Milan, the Rossonere, for the women’s Sela Cup title on Saturday, 10th August, before the men’s team look to retain their Sela Cup title in their clash with Stade Brestois later that day.

A complete Pre-Season Match Pass, featuring every fixture, will be available to purchase as the Magpies get set for the start of the new campaign. MAGS and MAGS+ Members will receive exclusive discounts on the Pre-Season Match Pass.

All five Newcastle United Men’s First Team matches will also be available to view on a pay-per-view basis.

And all fans will also be able to access a live stream of Newcastle United Women’s Sela Cup clash with AC Milan Women free of charge.

NON-MEMBERS

Non-members can purchase a Pre-Season Match Pass for £24.95.

MAGS+ and MAGS members who wish to purchase the Pre-Season Match Pass will be sent (via email) a unique, one-time promo code to apply at checkout.

A further unique, one-time promo code will be distributed after the match with Hull City to all MAGS+ members who do not purchase the Pre-Season Match Pass entitling them to watch the matches against Urawa Red Diamonds and Yokohama F. Marinos as part of their Membership benefit.

You must purchase a membership before 11:59pm on Friday, 26th July to be entitled to a discounted Pre-Season Match Pass.

You will receive a discount code within 24 hours of purchasing a membership. If you purchase between 12pm – 11:59pm on 26th July, you will receive your discount code on the morning of 27th July.
