Benson Boone, Billie EilishChappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims werere the first round of performers announced.

Beyoncé’s genre-defying Cowboy Carter album leads the pack with 11 nominations across categories from country to pop to melodic rap to Americana. She is competing in the Album, Record and Song of the year categories alongside Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift, whose Midnights won Album of the Year last year and broke the record for the most wins, making it four for the songstress, who ended her years-long Eras stadium tour in December.

Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Charli XCX each have seven nominations, and Swift, Carpenter and Chappell Roan have six apiece.
