Hugh Jackman’s ex Deborra-Lee Furness, daughter attend Australian Open after actor goes public with Sutton Foster

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, and their daughter, Ava, attended the 2025 Australian Open after the actor finally went public with his girlfriend, Sutton Foster.

The mother-daughter duo were photographed sitting courtside at Melbourne Park as they watched Emma Navarro and Peyton Stearns play the first round of the women’s singles on Tuesday.

The two remained fairly low-key during the match, with Ava, 19, turning to look at Furness, 69, who was chatting with Tennis Australia director Jayne Hrdlicka and former tennis player Judy Tegart-Dalton.

During another touching moment, Ava leaned on Furness’ shoulder while the actress and producer cradled the teen’s head.

For the game, Ava wore a simple black mini dress with a pendant choker and black sunglasses. Meanwhile, Furness sported an indigo blouse with white pants and blue-tinted sunglasses.

Notably, both Ava and Furness proudly wore evil-eye jewelry, which is believed to ward off negative energy.

Ava has seemingly stayed by her mother’s side since Furness and Jackman, 56, announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

In addition to Ava, the former couple adopted son Oscar, 24.

Although they vowed to stay friends, Jackman and Furness’ split became bitter when rumors about the “Greatest Showman” star’s alleged infidelity began circling.

In October 2024, Page Six exclusively exposed his secret romance with Foster, 49, who had just filed for divorce from “Ocean’s Eleven” screenwriter Ted Griffin after 10 years of marriage.

Sources told us that their friendship turned romantic after they worked together on “The Music Man” from December 2021 to January 2023, which raised eyebrows about their timelines.

Although they were not public with their romance, insiders said it was “common knowledge” among Broadway circles.

“They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” a source told us at the time.

One of Furness’ friends also seemed to confirm rumors of infidelity when a blogger posted a video claiming Jackman had “blindsided his wife” and “ran off with his mistress.”

“You are on point with this one . My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment FYI !” actress Amanda de Cadenet commented on the video, which prompted Furness to “like” it.

The “Wolverine” actor and Foster went on to confirm their romance in early January by stepping out hand in hand for a dinner date in Santa Monica, Calif.

Over the weekend, the new couple flaunted their relationship once again as they passionately made out outside an In-N-Out.

In photos obtained by Page Six, the former co-stars could not keep their hands off each other as they arrived at the burger chain restaurant and went inside to fetch their food.
