Hugh Jackman & Sutton Foster Have Been Keeping Relationship Secret But Spending 'All Of Their Free Time Together'!

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster tried really hard to keep their romance on the down low!

As we reported, the 49-year-old actress filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, on Tuesday, just days before their 10th wedding anniversary. What happened? Hugh did. There were rumors of a romance between Sutton and the 56-year-old actor after they starred in the revival of The Music Man between December 2021 and January 2023. InTouch reported in December 2023 that Hugh was “romancing” Sutton after they became close while working on the Broadway musical — and when they were still married.

Sources also previously told Page Six the co-stars formed a connection during The Music Man and fell “in love!” And they’re serious, too! The insider said at the time that they “want to spend the rest of their lives together.” Whoa! Here’s the thing with all this. Sutton isn’t the only one going through a breakup, either! Hugh filed for divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. They reportedly struggled with their relationship during COVID and the SAG strike. But perhaps there was a more scandalous reason behind the divorce…

Now, we’re getting more insight into The Greatest Showman star’s relationship with Sutton. An insider told Page Six on Thursday that the “in love” couple have been keeping their romance a secret from the public but have been inseparable:

“They spend all of their free time together. They are a regular couple, they are just in private.”

In order to keep their relationship under wraps, the source noted that “they sneak around.” That said, Hugh made it a point to break their cover and see Sutton in her latest show, Once Upon A Mattress, two months ago.

Obviously, they have not done the best job of staying under the radar! Their relationship is reportedly “common knowledge.” Not to mention that these romance rumors have been circulating for months. So, Sutton and Hugh aren’t the best at keeping this secret! Her divorce, of course, only brought up the relationship chatter some more! However, just because the cat is fully out of the bag now, we don’t expect to see the two step out on the red carpet together anytime soon. Not when they are hell-bent on keeping things “private.”
