Things should change at Paris Saint-Germain this winter in terms of arrivals and departures. Shelved by its leaders since this summer, Hugo Ekitike is in the process of leaving the French capital.
Unless there is a reversal, the Parisian attacker should set sail and find a new base. According to information from journalist Florian Plettenberg, the former Stade de Reims player has reached a verbal agreement in principle with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Frenchman is reportedly willing to give up a salary of around €4 million to join the German club this winter. The current 6th in the German championship has been looking for a center forward since last summer and the departure of Randal Kolo Muani. Leaders could find what they are looking for with Hugo Ekitike.
A transfer of 30 million euros in sight?
There is no longer any doubt about it. Hugo Ekitike will leave Paris Saint-Germain this winter and relaunch with a new club. Frankfurt is favored by the player. The deal should go through if all goes well. The capital club hopes to recover a sum of around 30 million euros for its striker.
As a reminder, the 21-year-old signed in the French capital on loan with an option to buy for the sum of 36 million euros in the summer of 2022.
