Celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani, has shared some long-term effects she is experiencing after taking epidural injections during her pregnancy.
While sharing her painful experience, she went ahead to warn expectant mothers to think twice before opting for it during childbirth.
In a video shared by the fashionista, she disclosed that she has been suffering from spine pain, paralysis, and breathing problems after receiving epidural anesthesia for the birth of her last two children.
According to her, doctors fail to tell their patients about the long-term effects of the epidural injections when administering them.
“Doctors tell you about the side effects but do not tell you about the long-term effects on your body. I have about three friends having the same issues I am having. I am just 42, how did I end up with spine issues? I have implants in my spine, I go paralyzed, I can’t stand for long, and sometimes I can’t even breathe properly,” she lamented.
