Tate McRae and The Kid LAROI have teamed up for their first duet together – “I Know Love“! The young couple’s new song comes as part of her just released third album, So Close to What. On the track, the two share snippets of their relationship with lyrics like, “You said, ‘No lie, girl, you lookin’ sexy on the magazine, but what you doin’ after the photos,’” “We started off friends, how we end up here? / I don’t know, but I don’t see no problems.” and “I said “You my type,” out in Mexico tonight / You said it was gon’ be quick, now we’re twelve months in, so / Everybody needs somebody they can hold down.” Keep reading to find out more… “I feel like the person you are in a relationship and the person you are in the studio as an artist are very different,” Tate told Rolling Stone of their duet. “We were a little nervous singing in front of each other.” At her album listening party in LA on Tuesday (February 18), pictured here in the gallery, Tate also opened up about working on “I Know Love” with Laroi. “It was a really funny process, because me and Laroi have never really, like, taken each other seriously,” she said with a laugh, via Billboard. “You know when you’re in a relationship and you sing around each other, but you don’t really, like, sing?
