I’m deeply saddened, Akpabio mourns A’Ibom First Lady

The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has commiserated with the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umoh Eno, over the untimely death of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.

The death of the Akwa Ibom First Lady was disclosed in a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Ini Ememobong, in the early hours of Friday.

Akpabio, in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, on Friday, said he was immensely saddened by the death of the governor’s wife, adding that her kindness, compassion, and commitment to the cause of the Akwa Ibom people will be greatly missed.

“Your Excellency, my dear brother and Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno. My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.

“I knew Pastor Patience Umo Eno closely, and she was an incredible partner and an exceptional woman, whose kindness, compassion, and dedication to her family and the people of Akwa Ibom State will never be forgotten. Her support and partnership with you throughout your journey were invaluable.

“Her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift us.

“My family, the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, the Senate, and the 10th National Assembly stand in solidarity with you, sharing in your grief and offering our heartfelt condolences. May God grant you and the entire family the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement reads in part.
