I’m tired of being an independent Woman – Toke Makinwa

Nigerian Media personality, Toke Makinwa has said she is tired of being an independent woman.

Makinwa, who just returned from a foreign trip, in a social media post said she came home to fuel scarcity and electricity tariff hike.

She wrote: “Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness, petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What is all these? Independent woman don taya [tire] o.”

Toke Makinwa separated from her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.
