Sophia Momodu the first babymama of award-winning music star, Davido has finally broken her silence on the lawsuit filed against her over the custody of her daughter, Imade
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Davido in an orginating motion supported by a 44-paragraph, dated April 17, 2024 is seeking joint custody of his daughter, as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and extorting money from him.
The singer through his lawyers, Dr Olaniyi Arije, Okey Barrah narrated that though he had a relationship with Momodu, the relationship had ended some years ago, while they resolved to take care of their child, unfortunately that hasn’t been the case.
The singer in the suit, marked LD/1587PMC/2024 claimed Sophia rejected his house offer and was demanding he pays N5million monthly rent for her house among others.
Reacting to lawsuit, Sophia in a press release on Saturday disclosed that she had an affair with the singer and husband to Chioma Rowland from 2020-2022.
The mother of one debunked that she was denying the singer access to his daughter, saying she only refused the singer sexual relationship with him.
She revealed that Davido has never made any attempt to meet with Imade. According to the release, Sophia ended the relationship in July, 2022 and Davido has been harassing her because she refused to give in to his demands.
