Skit maker and actor Ganiyu Kehinde better known as Ijoba Lande’s estranged wife, Dara has addressed allegations of cheating leveled against her by her husband.
Following accusations that she had cheated on her husband with Baba Tee, Ijoba Lande’s separated wife has shared her side of the story.
Dara said that she has never cheated on Lande and that their marriage did not end because of infidelity.
She also explained the alleged events that transpired during the Truth or Dare game.
reported in February, that Ijoba Lande on an Instagram live session revealed he and his wife, Dara have gone their separate ways. He expressed frustration that his wife could pack out of their matrimonial home because he was demonitized on Facebook and YouTube which used to earn him about N6 million collectively, in a month.
Shortly after, the Lande called out his colleague Babatunde Bernard Tayo better known as Baba Tee, for blocking him on Instagram. He said he regretted ever respecting him and warned Baba Tee not to ever share anything that has to do with motivational speaking.
Ijoba Lande’s call-out sparked speculations that Baba Tee, who has had two failed marriages, might be having an affair with the former’s wife.
Further fueling the infidelity allegations, Lande granted an interview where he accused his estranged wife, Dara of being a cheat who has had sex with about 21 actors. He also claimed he had solid evidence —videos and pictures of his wife to back the claims.
Reacting to the saga that has played out for weeks, Baba Tee took to social media to pledge innocent, addressing how he met Ijoba Lande’s wife through a mutual friend, Mary Gold. He added that he didn’t even know she was married until much later.
Baba Tee who dared Lande to provide evidence that he had sex with Dara, claimed that he only ever met the skit maker once.
Finally addressing the claims of a Truth or Dare game leading to sex, Dara told her side of the story. She claimed he didn’t have sex with Baba Tee during the game but sat on his laps instead.
Dara added that it was their mutual friend Mary Gold that gave the actor a BJ.
She then dared her estranged husband to provide evidence of her infidelity, adding that the reason they broke up had nothing to do with infidelity. In her words:
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold told me we should go to his house because she wanted to invite him for the launching of her movie. When we got there, Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife, we greeted and Marygold said she wanted to drink alcohol.
There was no alcohol in the house so Marygold and Baba Tee’s driver went to buy it while I sat down in the living room. Baba Tee and I didn’t talk till they returned. When Marygold entered the house, she said we should start a TRUTH OR DARE game. I didn’t want to but she encouraged me so I told Baba Tee that I was Lande’s wife and we started the game. As the game was going on, Marygold stripped herself naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ. By then I already drank 10 shots of alcohol while Marygold and Baba Tee were smoking ‘igbo’. Marygold then dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style so Baba Tee went to get a Condom.
When he came back, I told him I would not allow doggy but I would sit on him. We then told Marygold to turn to the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. I only sat on his laps, we didn’t do anything.
Lande knows I don’t sleep around. I challenge him to bring out any evidence that I ever cheated on him. I will not say the reason why we broke up for now due to some personal reasons but it wasn’t about infidelity.”
