'I Saw The TV Glow' Star Changes Name to Jack Haven, Has Privately Used New Name for Two Years

The non-binary star of the movie I Saw the TV Glow has announced their new name.

The actor, who was formerly known as Brigette Lundy-Paine, is now going by the name Jack Haven and they explained the meaning behind their new name in an Instagram post.

Jack says that they have been using the name for the past two years in private, but were encouraged to start using it in places that don’t necessarily feel safe.

“i am changing my name, going by Jack Haven now. Haven is after my great great uncle, Haven Gillespie who was a songwriter known for the xmas hit ‘Santa Clause is Coming to Town’ which he wrote on the subway in 15 minutes. and first name Jack has stuck,” they wrote in the post.

Jack continued, “Two years ago in a workshop led by @saman_arastoo I began using this name. I said I was using it in safe spaces. Saman said use it in dangerous spaces. So I use it in the mens bathroom.”
