Following Manchester United’s win against Luton in the Premier League, Gary Lineker has been discussing the form of Rasmus Hojlund.

At a location that many have found overwhelming, Erik ten Hag’s team secured three points at Luton, continuing their extremely good recent record.

United have now won four Premier League matches in a row, thanks to Hojlund’s brace against Luton.

A number of players impressed for United; Raphael Varane was rock solid at the back, Kobbie Mainoo was his usual self in the midfield and took responsibility of controlling the tempo of the game but it was Hojlund who impressed Lineker the most.

Following the victory, Lineker discussed the fact that the Dane had became the youngest player to score in six straight Premier League games on the podcast “The Rest is Football.”

He said: “I want to start with Hojlund. He has become the youngest player in Premier League history to score in six successive games.

“He has really bounced back and that speaks volumes for him. It was a struggle for him, particularly in the Premier League, he did score goals in the Champions League.

“They have stuck with him, or were forced to stick with him. But I like him, he is quick, he can finish. I think Manchester United have got a gooden.”

Because of the Dane’s tenacity and positive attitude, he has gained a lot of admirers. The form he is currently in right now, there are few strikers around that United fans would trade him for.

United are still expected to sign a striker in the summer to share the workload of Hojlund. Anthony Martial is expected to leave the club at the end of the season and United need another striker to add depth and goals to the squad.
