Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Parde believes Sofyan Amrabat wants to stay in the Premier League following a loan spell at Manchester United.
The Moroccan didn’t find his flow until the end of the season – when Erik ten Hag eventually decided to play him in his preferred role as a No. 6. It would be naïve to overlook this criticism given how often Amrabat looked uncomfortable when he played for United.
Amrabat was one of the best performers in the FA Cup final win Man City as he controlled the midfield and protected United’s back four.
That performance may have put a spanner in the works since it he had no chance of staying at Old Trafford this time last month.
United can buy Amrabat from Fiorentina for €25million by triggering a clause from the loan deal.

Parde says Fiorentina have heard nothing from United on their plans for the midfielder, but he says Amrabat wishes to remain in the Premier League.
“I would keep him in Florence but it doesn’t seem like what he has in mind,” he said, as per Manchester World. “I think he wants to stay in the Premier League but we haven’t heard from anyone yet since.”
Other options in the Premier League for Amrabat?
According to The Sun, Amrabat is set to remain in England next season – with or without United.
The report in question claims Crystal Palace and Fulham sent scouts to watch the player in the closing weeks of the season.
Emillia Hawkins from The Sun adds that Palace insiders have been impressed by Amrabat performance after coming on in their win over United at Selhurst Park.
