A Nigerian lady who campaigned fervently for President Tinubu during the elections is now lamenting the alarming rise in the cost of living in the country.

The young woman painfully expressed her dissatisfaction with the current state of the economy under the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government.

Speaking passionately in Yoruba, the woman pointed out the severe economic challenges facing citizens, asserting that the high cost of living has reached a critical point where people are struggling to survive.

She specifically mentioned an incident involving the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), where she received a bill of N70,000 for a one-room apartment, despite only using a fan.

The disappointed supporter also addressed the surging prices of house rent, emphasizing that the cost has skyrocketed to levels that are increasingly unsustainable for many citizens.

She went on to suggest that if the government is unable to implement effective measures to salvage the economy, they should consider stepping down to make way for a more capable leadership.
