Kelechi Iheanacho believes the Super Eagles will bounce back stronger from the disappointment of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final defeat to Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Eagles fell to a 2-1 defeat against the hosts in the final of the competition on Sunday night.
Jose Peseiro’s side scored first through William Troost-Ekong in the first half but the Elephants rallied to win the keenly contested.

Iheanacho, who came in as a second half substitute in the game thanked Nigerians for their support.
“Normally na this one dey pain pass wey you don see the trophy but you no touch am ba wahala
We will be back,” he wrote on his X handle.
“Thank you to all Nigerian that supported us God bless you all, let’s keep believing
Thank you Most High God .”
The Super Eagles will now shift attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which will resume in June.
