IIFA 2025 is going to to take place in Jaipur, Rajasthan on March 9. Ahead of the grand event, the organisers hosted a special press conference attended by several stars. While several glimpses from the IIFA conference is going viral, what caught our attention was exes Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s reunion and warm hug. Apart from felicitating the guests, they were even seen having conversation.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor sharing a warm hug at the press conference. Bebo then went on to hug Karan Johar, who was also present at the event. Shahid and Kareena interacted for a bit, while Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon and other celebs also joined them on stage. The rare sight of the former couple left fans in a frenzy. For the unversed, the Deva actor is one of the key performers at the main awards ceremony. While Kareena will pay tribute to her legendary grandfather Raj Kapoor, celebrating 100 years of his cinematic legacy.
It is not the first time that Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s reunion has caught internet’s attention. In February 2024, Shahid and Kareena both attended the Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards in Mumbai. Apart from this, even during their kids school annual day, they are seen crossing paths.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor first met on the sets of Fida in 2004 and soon started dating. Their relationship lasted until 2007, with their breakup happening during the making of Jab We Met. Kareena later got married to Saif Ali Khan in 2012. The lovebirds are proud parents to two sons – Taimur and Jeh. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is married to Mira Rajput. The couple has two children – daughter Misha and son Zain.
