Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu can’t hide his excitement following his appointment as an assistant to Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen.
Ilechukwu and his Remo Stars counterpart, Daniel Ogunmodede were confirmed as assistants to Eguavoen by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday.
The 44-year-old previously had stint at the U-23 level where he served as one of the assistants to Imama Amapakabo.

The former Plateau United and Heartland coach took to the social media to celebrate his appointment.
“A call to serve Nigeria and an opportunity for more hard work, and we will never take this for granted. Thank you for the good wishes and the congratulatory messages. I’m humbled,” Ilechukwu wrote on X.
He arrived the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Monday.
