Both states have agreed to hand over the 15 prioritized components of the Sagar and Srisailam project to the KRMB within one month. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will closely monitor the dam sites and engineers from the two states will only be allowed to enter the Sagar dam premises with permission from the KRMB. If any critical maintenance work is required for the Sagar dam, the states can submit a written request to the board for supervision.
The upcoming KRMB meeting will address all agreed-upon issues between the two states and establish the final protocols.
