Imran Khan has been away from the limelight for a long time. He was last seen in Nikkhil Advani’s Katti Batti in 2015 and reportedly plans a comeback. Imran Khan on not talking about depression with Aamir Khan

Speaking on the We Are Yuvaa YouTube channel, Imran talked about his uncle Aamir and how he never really shared his mental health struggles with him. “For the closeness and the consideration that I have for Aamir, he’s a very busy guy. So, we would meet infrequently, he would be eyeball-deep in three films. So, the conversations wouldn’t quite have the chance to get there. Life is such. It was ultimately my mom who was able to help me.”

Calling the Laal Singh Chaddha an influential figure, he said, “I grew up in a house with Aamir, my other uncle Mansoor, both of whom were very influential figures. As a young man, learning about masculinity, I certainly took a lot of cues from both of them.” He also spoke about Aamir’s tenacity, saying, “Aamir has this great sense of conviction and fearlessness. When he believes that a thing is truthful, nothing will get him to back down from that. He has no fear, in that sense. He has a great, great sense of conviction, which I’ve always admired and appreciated, and I’ve always tried to emulate that.”

Imran also talks about Aamir’s workaholic nature and says, “I’ve worked with him up close and personal. It’s staggering. Everyone else will collapse and fall down from absolute exhaustion, and he keeps going and going and going. I’ve worked double shifts with him, where he has shot through the day and I’ve shot through the day, and then we’ve shot through the night for various promotional things. And I’m dead, exhausted, done. But he’s (fine), and he’s back off to set. It’s terrifying to watch him work.”

On the work front, Imran Khan last acted in 2015 release Katti Batti.
