Barcelona are set to welcome PSG to the Olympic Montjuic Stadium today as they gear up for the second-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Catalans came out of the first leg as victors, putting three past the Parisian defence, while conceding just the two goals.
Pedri was the point of difference between the two sides in the second half, assisting Raphinha within a minute of coming on. He is expected to start today, though, with Sergi Roberto and Andreas Christensen suspended.
“These are the matches that everyone wants to play, with a lot of passion and excitement to give to our fans what they want,” Pedri said ahead of the game, quoted by Barcelona.
Control is key
Pedri went on to talk about how the game will be decided, and detailed one important point about the game – control of the ball.
“Above all, this match will be about possession, physical strength, and winning the maximum amount of duels. In the end, whoever controls the ball will decide the fate of the match.”
“Especially helping out in two-on-ones, and one-on-ones, ensuring they do not have clear chances,” he added.

“I think this is the most important match of our season so far. We are looking forward to playing infront of the fans at the Montjuic, having their support as they have been us throughout the season. I am sure the atmosphere will be amazing.”
“We are keen on reaching the semi-finals for the sake of our fans. I hope it will happen,” Pedri concluded.
Pedri is in line to start tonight, but it remains to be seen whether the Spaniard will be able to complete 90 minutes or not.
