He is the kid of a club. Trained at Sevilla FC, Jesus Navas spent twenty years of his career with the Andalusian club. My wish, and I conveyed it to the president, is to continue playing until December in a transition to help the team. It will be on this date that I decide to hang up my shoes with the jersey I have always dreamed of wearing, dressed as a Sevilla player. One more thing, these next few months, my last as a professional footballer, I will not be paid. The salary agreed with the president will be donated to a Foundation. This is my decision and this is how I communicated it to the club. I want fans to know all the details and transparency to guide us. We are going through difficult times as Sevillas and therefore it is time to be united and be able to continue walking to achieve what we all want: a big, strong and happy Seville, which makes us all Sevillas happy .»
