INEOS are expected to continue their senior staff overhaul at Manchester United with three more marquee appointments in the coming weeks.
According to Football Insider, as cited by CaughtOffside, the Reds are working on deals to hire a new sporting director, head of recruitment and technical chief scout.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has already made big charges at the club even though his deal to buy 25% of United is still being ratified by the Premier League. We’ve replaced Richard Arnold with a new chief executive, with Omar Berrada joining the club after spending several years at Man City.
The report adds that United’s new owners have also axed football negotiations manager Sam Barnett.
Barnett had been part of the club’s recruitment team since 2020 and it is also thought that football director John Murtough faces the sack, too.
Newcastle United’s Dan Ashworth is tipped to replace Murtough and Paul Mitchell is another name being touted for a role.
