Infinix revealed the Note 40 Pro Series phones into the Nigerian market in collaboration with Showmax. The event took place at Marriot Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos and the event had influencers, media personalities, and smartphone dealers in attendance. At the event, Infinix unveiled two phones that include the Infinix Note 40, and Infinix Note 40 Pro.
The company also talked about their self-developed Cheetah X1 Chip at the event that is present on all the Note 40 series phones. It acts as the brain of the phone when charging making sure they won’t overheat among other features.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro comes with up to 12GB of virtual RAM and it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate. The phone comes with a 20-watt wireless charging kit and a 70 watts fast charger. It also has an IR blaster which converts the phone into a remote for electronics. It has a curved AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution. The phone also has a unique Halo Lightning effect around the flashlight area that glows up when playing music or when a notification comes in the phone.
Infinix worked with Showmax to offer a discounted subscription package when you buy the Note 40 series devices. Users will enjoy entertainment almost free using the Showmax app when they get any of the devices, making the purchase even more valuable. The Infinix Note 40 comes with the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate with up to 16GB virtual RAM and 256GB storage space. It has a 108MP primary camera and 32MP selfie camera. The phone supports 45 watts fast charging, and you also get the wireless charging features of the Note 40 Pro. At the event, Infinix also announced that the phones will be getting two years of software updates.
Prominent tech influencers like KaganTech, Izzi Boye, and Eugoson Quorch were in attendance alongside a lot of other actors and lifestyle influencers.
Rounding up the event the Digital Marketing Manager of Infinix Nigeria, Tobi Andonu announced an online challenge for everyone and the winner will walk away with the Infinix Note 40, with lots of other items to be won by participants.
