PSG may have lost one of their best players for a long time.

The FIFA virus has struck again. The international break has barely begun when PSG have recorded the defection of one of their key players due to a physical problem. On Friday evening, Vitinha found himself on the sidelines due to an injury.

During the match between Portugal and Croatia in the Nations League, the midfielder of the French champions had to leave the field just before the end of the game (replaced by Pedro Gonçalves).

PSG trembles for Vitinha

According to the first news circulating, the former Porto player is suffering from an ankle injury. Its severity is not yet known. He is not one of those who often and easily get injured and that is why a long period of unavailability is feared.

If Vitinha were to miss the competition for several weeks, it would be a big blow for PSG, who must notably play C1 matches against Girona and Arsenal in the Champions League. He was in great form at the start of the season. Luis Enrique, the coach, has constantly praised him and underlined his new importance within the team.
