Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa

The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Christopher Musa, on Friday said it was impossible for the incumbent administration to solve the economic and security challenges bedevilling the country within one year.

The CDS added that he had seen what the government had been doing, adding that things are improving in the country.

Musa spoke while addressing journalists in Abuja on Friday.

He said, “The Federal Government has been in office for one year, and it is not possible for them to solve every financial, economic, and security situation within one year.

“I’ve seen policies that have been made to address the economic situation on the ground, including the security situation. Things are improving. We are not where we want to be, but I can assure you we are heading there.

“If we have the support of everyone together, we can bring total peace and the economy will grow.”
