Having returned to Inter last year after a one-year stint at Olympique de Marseille, Alexis Sanchez (35) is now without a club. The Lombardy team confirmed that it had not extended the Chilean’s contract, which ended on June 30. In 2023/2024, Sanchez scored 4 goals and provided 5 assists in 33 matches in all competitions.
“Four seasons at Inter and five titles together: Inter and Alexis Sanchez say goodbye after a long ride together. The Chilean striker played with the Nerazzurri for the 2023/2024 season, after having also worn the Nerazzurri colours from 2019 to 2022. In the latter championship, he helped win the Scudetto, the second for Alexis at Inter, after the one won in 2021. For the Chilean, he also won the Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups, one of which was decided by one of his goals at the end of the season. In 2023/2024, Sanchez made 23 appearances in Serie A, with 2 goals, 2 in the Italian Super Cup and 8 in the Champions League, with 2 goals. In total, under the Inter jersey, he made 142 appearances, for 24 goals. Thank you Alexis!»
