On Tuesday evening, Inter had a good result against Atlético de Madrid in the Champions League. The Lombards won 1-0. But the evening was not perfect since Marcus Thuram (26) left with an injury, after muscle pain in his thigh. Simone Inzaghi was rather worried after the final whistle. “He had a problem on that shot with Witsel, then he shot on goal and felt cramped. In the next few days we’re going to see what he has, these are things that can happen, we’ll see, we hope we don’t lose him for too long.”

This Thursday, the Milanese communicated on the injury and the state of form of the French international. “Marcus Thuram underwent instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano. As for the Nerazzurri striker, he has a strain in the adductor longus of his right thigh. His condition will be reassessed in the coming days.” The duration of his unavailability has not been communicated.
