Naturally, people within the company are excited about this opportunity.

WWE announced today that NXT will visit the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Tuesday, October 1, and the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Tuesday, October 8, as part of its highly anticipated broadcast television debut on The CW Network. NXT’s live debut will air on Tuesday, October 1, at 8 p.m. ET.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select to reveal that there is a lot of excitement backstage in NXT as they prepare to go on tour once again. It was also noted that it’s unknown whether this change to NXT touring is going to stick for the long term.

“There was a general sense of excitement for NXT returning to the road, but it is unknown as of this writing if it will be a permanent change.”

CM Punk currently enjoys a strong relationship with Shawn Michaels, and he’s made NXT appearances in the past. It will be exciting to see how the Second City Savior stirs things up in Chicago. Reports have also confirmed that Randy Orton will be joining the St. Louis stop.

The live arena shows will feature special appearances by CM Punk in Chicago and Randy Orton in St. Louis. This is expected to be a huge draw for fans in Chicago who are eager to see Punk. There will probably be a lot of reasons to tune in once NXT debuts on The CW.
