Prime Video is rounding out its voice cast for Season 3 of its animated series Invincible, adding Aaron Paul, Simu Liu, Jonathan Banks, Kate Mara, Xolo Maridueña, John DiMaggio, Tzi Ma, Doug Bradley, and Christian Convery.
They join stars Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Gillian Jacobs, and Jason Mantzoukas in the critically acclaimed superhero series.
Based on the Skybound/Image comic, from The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, co-creator Cory Walker, and contributing creator Ryan Ottley, Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, voiced by Yeun, as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he’ll need to go to protect the people he loves.
Paul voices Powerplex. A new villain with an emotional past, Powerplex absorbs energy – letting him use an enemy’s strength against them. And that enemy is Invincible.
Mara is Becky Duvall. With a deep hatred for Invincible, Becky works with Powerplex to deliver justice she believes was denied.
DiMaggio voices The Elephant. A serious villain with a serious name and a serious look. He wants the world to stop eating meat. He probably wants other things too. It doesn’t matter as long as he’s taken seriously… By somebody. Please.
Ma is Mr. Liu. Under this wizened exterior, he’s the ruthless leader of The Order – an international crime syndicate. But that’s not all this mysterious old man is hiding.
Maridueña voices Fightmaster & Dropkick. Freedom-fighting twins from a troubled future, they’re willing to risk everything in a desperate quest to save their world.
Convery is Oliver Grayson. Mark’s younger brother was a toddler last time we saw him, but when you’re half Viltrumite and half Thraxan, you grow up REAL fast.
Liue voices Multi-Paul. An elite assassin for Mr. Liu’s secret criminal organization, Multi-Paul took the opposite path of his sister Dupli-Kate. But blood is thicker than water…
Details on the characters voiced by Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley are being kept under wraps.
Voice cast also includes Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Zachary Quinto, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Clancy Brown, Jay Pharoah, Mark Hamill, and Melise Jow.
